How it connects

In Ecommercen administration, open Settings → MCP Connector. Under Create new token, enter a label and choose permissions: SEO & Content for the catalog, Sales Statistics for reports and optionally Blog Content for articles. Choose Create token.

Copy the complete Connection URL from Active tokens. In Advisable.AI, open My connections → MCP Ecommercen, name the connection and paste the URL with an available workspace slot.

Test the connection. No separate store API key or OAuth login is required. For ChatGPT or Claude, use the MCP URL from your saved Advisable.AI card, sign in and approve access.

Which URL do I enter?+

Use the complete private MCP URL generated for your Ecommercen store, not its homepage. The URL grants access and must remain private, like a password.

Does Ecommercen need OAuth?+

Not for the connection from Advisable.AI to this MCP endpoint. ChatGPT and Claude connect to Advisable.AI using OAuth. Give those apps the URL from your saved Advisable.AI card, not the private store URL.

Can the AI change my store?+

Writes are disabled by default. The owner can enable supported catalog updates and article or tag creation/updates when the token permits them. Each such action requires a preview and confirmation.

Does each store need its own connection?+

Yes. Each store has its own private MCP URL and is saved as a separate connection, with the workspace's connection slots, trial and subscription checks.

Which token permissions should I select?+

SEO & Content covers catalog content and SEO with read and write access in Ecommercen. Sales Statistics is read-only. Blog Content enables reading, creating and updating articles where the server provides those tools. Writes in Advisable.AI remain disabled until you enable them. The tools shown depend on the URL's permissions and server version.

What happens if I choose Rotate URL?+

The previous URL is invalidated immediately and the old connection stops working. Copy the new Connection URL. In Advisable.AI, remove the old connection and create a new one with the new URL.
