Your original *.myshopify.com domain and either an Admin access token issued for an installed app, or Client ID and Client secret for an app in the same Dev Dashboard organization as the store. Do not use a Storefront token or your Shopify login password.
Only when the app and store belong to the same Shopify organization. A store in another organization needs the appropriate app installation and that app's OAuth flow to issue an Admin access token. Client ID and secret alone do not bypass this restriction.
Shopify normally permits the most recent 60 days with read_orders. Older orders need separately approved read_all_orders access. Scopes and protected customer-data approvals may also limit customer fields.
In client-credentials mode, Advisable.AI renews the 24-hour token before it expires. If you supply an existing expiring Admin access token, its issuing app must renew it through its OAuth flow and you need to update the connection.
No. The connection starts read-only. With writes enabled and write_products permission, only supported descriptive product changes are available, with preview and confirmation. There are no tools for charges, refunds, order changes, prices or inventory writes.
